Salem National Bank
Originally the home of the Capital National Bank, this wonderful old stone constructed building
still gracefully occupies its position on N. Commercial Street, in downtown Salem, Oregon.
All three-stories, grandly display their Victorian decorative detail in every nook and cranny.
The cone shaped turret, rising above windows of small paned colored glass, sits proudly within a
margin of decorative stonework, which orchastrates frame to the intricate engraving of the bank's logo and date of construction; "NB" [on the left] "1892"
[on the right].
